PART - 'C' - Procedure for holding selection for promotion from Gr.'D' to Gr.'C' posts :

1.

Jr.Clerk 33½%

i) Gr.'D' Railway servants to be eligible for promotion to Gr.'C' post should have put in a mini. 03 years of continuous service.

ii) This does not apply to SC/ST candidates.

iii) For promotion to Gr.'C' posts in the ministerial cadre, Gr.'D' servant staff will be required to possess a typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi.
